Hushwork docs
Everything about Hushwork in plain words: what it does, how to use each page, what each connection can and cannot do, and how it keeps you in control. New here? Start with Your first 5 minutes.
Getting started
- What is Hushwork?Hushwork turns a weekly chore you describe in plain words into a short list of steps, and nothing is sent or created until you press Approve.
- Your first 5 minutesSign in, describe one chore, look at the plan, try a practice run, and approve one step on the Runs page.
- How Hushwork worksEvery workflow follows one loop: a start, some steps, a practice run, your approval, and a record on the Runs page.
Using Hushwork
- The workspace: describe a choreThe Workspace is the home page of the app: you type a chore, see a plan, and save it as a draft.
- The Builder and its blocksThe Builder is where you change a workflow: add blocks, fill in the blanks, put the steps in order and press Save.
- TemplatesTemplates are 33 ready-made workflows, in five packs, that open in the Builder so you can change every step before you use them.
- Skills and bundlesA skill is one small thing Hushwork can do, and a bundle is a package of skills for one kind of work, with ready-made workflows.
- Runs and ApproveA run is one go at a workflow: pressing Run makes a practice run, and nothing real happens until you press Approve on the Runs page.
- SchedulesA schedule runs a workflow by itself at a time you choose, and it only writes things if you tick one box.
- Watch modeWatch mode checks something on a schedule and stays quiet unless it finds something new.
- MemoryMemory is a short list of facts you write about yourself, which the AI can use as background.
- Your account and your dataYou sign in with an email and a password, and on the Settings page you can download a copy of your data or delete your account.
Connections
- Connections overviewA connection lets Hushwork look at one of your apps, or add one thing to it, but only after you press Approve.
- Google (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Sheets)Press Connect Google once to let Hushwork read your calendar, inbox headers and Drive file names, and add rows to a sheet you name.
- LinearConnect Linear to let Hushwork read your open tasks, and add one new task after you press Approve.
- Google Workspace through ComposioSeven Google apps connect through Composio to send email, add events and create new Google files, each with its own Connect button.
- More apps through ComposioComposio lets Hushwork reach apps like Slack, Notion, GitHub, Stripe and Todoist without making a separate sign-in for each one.
Safety and privacy
- How Hushwork keeps you in controlNothing is sent, created or added until you read the exact words and press Approve, and Hushwork checks this on its server.
- Privacy and what the AI seesHushwork keeps your account in Supabase, uses Groq for the AI and Composio for some app sign-ins. This page says what goes where.
- Limits and numbersThe limits that keep Hushwork safe, fair and affordable: how many times a day, how long text can be, and how many things you can keep.
Reference
- Step typesEvery block the Builder offers, what it does, what it needs, whether it reads or writes, and whether it waits for your Approve.
- Ask the AI and earlier answersAn Ask the AI step gives the AI a job and lets it read one place first. Its answer can feed later steps.
- GlossaryShort plain-words meanings for the words you meet in Hushwork.
- Troubleshooting and FAQShort answers to the problems people hit most, using the same words Hushwork shows on screen.
