Getting started
What is Hushwork?
Hushwork turns a weekly chore you describe in plain words into a short list of steps, and nothing is sent or created until you press Approve.
What it does
You write a chore the way you would say it. For example: "Every Friday, find my unpaid Stripe invoices and email me a reminder to review."
Hushwork (with help from an AI) turns that into a plan: a short list of steps, called a workflow. A step can:
- Look at something, like your Google Calendar, your Gmail senders and subjects, your Drive file names, Stripe, Linear, Slack or GitHub.
- Think, by asking the AI to sum up what it found.
- Write something real, like sending an email, creating a Linear task, or making a Google Sheet, Doc or Slides deck.
You can run a workflow when you ask, or set it to run on a schedule.
Who it is for
Hushwork is made for freelancers and small-business owners. These are people who do the same small jobs every week, such as chasing invoices, checking the inbox or writing a weekly report.
The one promise
Note: Nothing is sent or created until you read the exact words and press Approve.
Before a step does anything real, Hushwork shows you the exact words it will send or the exact thing it will create. You read it. Then you press Approve, or you do nothing.
There are two ways to skip the click, and both are your own choice, made on purpose: Auto mode and a schedule with Let it write by itself ticked. Both are off until you turn them on. See Runs and Approve and Schedules.
What Hushwork is not
- It is not a chatbot. You do not talk to it all day.
- It does not act on its own. Its AI can only read and write words. It cannot press buttons in your apps.
- It does not email your clients for you. The ready-made workflows send the email to you, so you can read it and decide.
- It is not connected to everything. Some apps cannot be connected yet. The Connections overview lists what works.
A tiny example
- You type: "Every Monday, think of five post ideas and email them to me."
- Hushwork shows a plan with three steps: start on Mondays, ask the AI for five ideas, email them to you.
- You open the plan in the Builder and press Save.
- You press Run. This is a practice run: it writes down what each step would do and sends nothing.
- On the Runs page you press Approve on the AI step. The AI writes the ideas.
- You read the email text and press Approve again. Only now is the email sent.
